DC Universe Online

The core game play of DC Universe Online takes place in its cities. Both Gotham and Metropolis are large scale open world environments that allow people to travel seamlessly within them.

For both cities in DCUO, I was responsible for blocking out and designing street and building layouts and making sure each had required designer data. Each city contains dozens of 'points of interest' that are used as content hubs as well as visual landmarks. I led a team in blocking out these areas in Maya and Unreal and blocked out numerous buildings myself. I worked with Art to make sure that scope related requirements were met to ensure success from both a design and and art perspective.
